Qualche giorno fa PAN Marrakech era intervenuta per salvare un asinello a Jmaat S’him sulla strada per Safi (città costiera del Marocco). L’intervento era stato sollecitato da Abderazak, un giornalista di Asfi Média. L’asinello è stato ferito di proposito da uno sconosciuto probabilmente perchè è entrato nel suo terreno. Fatto sta che dell’asinello si è occupato per oltre una settimana Ahmed, un agricoltore della zona, che lo ha nutrito e gli ha prestato i primi soccorsi. Dopodichè è subentrata Pan Marrakech a recuperare l’asinello e a portarlo nel proprio rifugio. Qui è stato visitato e curato (la ferita era infettata da vermi ed è stato necessario pulire scrupolosamente tutta la zampa e rifare la fasciatura).
L’animale verrà monitorato per alcuni giorni per valutare l’eventualità di un’operazione al tendine.

A few days ago PAN Marrakech intervened to save a donkey in Jmaat S’him on the road to Safi (a coastal city in Morocco). The intervention had been requested by Abderazak, a journalist from Asfi Média. The donkey had been injured on purpose by an unknown person probably because it entered his land. Ahmed, a farmer from the area, took care of the donkey for over a week, feeding it and giving it first aid. Then Pan Marrakech took over to recover the donkey and take it to its shelter. Here he was examined and treated (the wound was infected with worms and it was necessary to carefully clean the entire paw and re-bandage it).
The animal will be monitored for a few days to evaluate the possibility of tendon surgery.
